In recent years, academic activities related to landslide and engineering slope have been actively exchanged, with a large number of participants, and received wide attention from the industry. In order to further promote the academic exchange of landslide and other geological disaster prevention and mitigation, the "Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering Landslide and Engineering Slope Branch", led by the Geological Environment Monitoring Institute of China Geological Survey (Geological Disaster Technical Guidance Center of Ministry of Natural Resources), was formally established and held its first general meeting in Beijing on December 13. Zhang Bo, the general manager of our company, attended the meeting as the representative of the first council.

After the establishment of the branch, it will strengthen the theoretical research and technology research and development, focus on the early identification of landslide and engineering slope, intelligent monitoring and early warning and comprehensive engineering management of science and technology development, and devote to the comprehensive prevention and control technology combining engineering protection of slope and landslide management engineering. At the same time, the club will strengthen academic exchanges and personnel training, and serve national major needs and local economic construction.
