The Technical Guidance Center for Geological Disaster Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Natural Resources analyzed the current situation around the national major geological disaster survey, geological disaster monitoring and early warning, typical geological disaster causes and geological disaster prevention and control technology, and put forward the ideas of scientific and technological innovation and technical breakthrough.

In response to the key issues of new technologies and methods of geological disaster prevention and control and monitoring and early warning, the conference carried out exchanges and discussions on satellite remote sensing monitoring, current status of slope radar technology, Beidou cloud Internet of Things monitoring practice, intelligent InSAR technology, "loam-like soil matrix" technology application, and "special group combination" monitoring and early warning system information transmission.
