In the afternoon of Dec. 22, the signing ceremony of the joint creation and construction of land and resource institutes between China Association of Geological Hazard Prevention and Control Engineering and Nayong County Bureau of Land and Resources of Guizhou Province was held in Nayong County Bureau of Land and Resources. In the coming year, the association will give full play to its role as a link between the government and members and its professional advantages in geological disaster prevention and control engineering to jointly create and build a land and resource office to promote the further consolidation and improvement of the "five lines and five places" geological disaster prevention and control mechanism in Nayong County and realize precise poverty alleviation.

According to the introduction, the cooperation is based on equal cooperation and guided by the concept of innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development. According to the needs of Nayong County Bureau of Land and Resources, the association will organize relevant experts to inspect the work of geological disaster prevention and control in Nayong County and provide consultation and guidance on specific projects; provide training for the business personnel of geological disaster prevention and control in Nayong County Land and Resources System; organize relevant units to provide support for the work of "five lines and five places" of geological disaster prevention and control in Nayong County. Support.

In addition, the association will support the software and hardware construction of the land and resource institutes under the Nayong County Land and Resource Bureau on the premise that the member units are voluntary. At the signing ceremony, Jiangsu Green Rock Ecological Technology Co., Ltd, a member of the association, donated the first batch of funds and equipment to support the construction of the Land and Resources Institute. According to the agreement, Nayong County Bureau of Land and Resources will facilitate field trips, grassroots exercises and internships for the staff of the association and its relevant member units.

Nayong County is located in a mountainous area, and geological hazards are more likely to develop. According to Long Changlin, director of Nayong County Land and Resources Bureau, the county has identified 247 geological disaster potential sites, threatening a population of 33,000 people. As it is in the concentrated contiguous special difficulty area of Wumeng Mountains and a national poverty-stricken county, Nayong County faces many difficulties in geological disaster prevention and control and construction of land and resource institutes.
