From March 29 to 31, 2019, the National Standardization Training Course for Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Industry (201901) hosted by China Association of Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") and organized by Guangdong Association of Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Industry was held in Guangzhou. Guan Fengjun, executive vice president of the Association, made a report on the theme of "Standardization System Construction in China's Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Engineering Industry" at the opening ceremony.

This training invited five specifications (regulations) chief editors, including Zhou Pinggen, Ma Dongtao, Chen Shaoping, Hu Xinli and Shen Yan, to explain in detail the "Landslide Collapse Mudflow Disaster Investigation Specification 1:50000", "Geological Disaster Biological Management Engineering Design Specification (for trial implementation)", "Anti-slip Pile Construction Technology Specification (for trial implementation)", "Anti-slip Pile Management Engineering Design Specification (for trial implementation)", "Geological Disaster Biological Management The participants unanimously said that the standardization was not only a good idea, but also a good idea.

The participants unanimously said that the training course was comprehensive, informative and targeted, which further broadened the horizons of practitioners in the geological disaster prevention and control industry and broadened their thinking and benefited them greatly. The training is conducive to promoting the implementation of technical standards in the geohazard prevention and control engineering industry, and to improving the level of business ability and project quality of industry units.

The meeting was hosted by Fan Hongxi, Deputy Secretary General of the Association, and attended by Zhang Jianguo, President of Guangdong Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Association. About 170 representatives from 14 provinces (regions and municipalities) of the geohazard management engineering industry attended the training.
