Shandong Jiuding Mountain Geological Environment Treatment and Ecological Restoration Project
JiuDing Mountain Geological Environment Treatment and Ecological Restoration Project is a part of JiuDing Mountain International Health City to re-green the mountain. The treatment area is located in the south of JiuDingshan International Health City, Jining City, Shandong Province, and the main technology adopted is "loam-like substrate" technology. The ecological and geological environment of the mine and the surrounding area was severely damaged due to the disorderly mining and the lagging awareness of environmental protection in JiuDing Mountain, and there were serious potential risks of geological disasters. One month after the construction, the exposed mountain was covered with green, and the ecological restoration effect, mainly by trees, emerged.
One year after the construction, the ecological restoration effect was basically achieved. At the same time, about 2,000 mu of abandoned land was reclaimed. Through comprehensive management, more than 5,000 mu of mountains have been restored and treated, more than 1 million trees of various types have grown, nearly 10,000 mu of greening area has been completed, the greening rate has reached nearly 90% from less than 3%, and reservoirs, scenic service centers and road network infrastructure are also under orderly construction.
On July 2, 2015, the national geological environment management and mine re-greening action site meeting was held here, attended by the former vice minister of the Ministry of Land and Resources, and attended by the heads of natural resources departments from all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the heads of geological environment division and geological environment monitoring general station (hospital), the heads of the China Geological Survey and relevant institutions directly under the ministry, and the relevant ministry organs The total number of people in charge of the departments and bureaus is about 200. The effect of green management implemented by Green Rock Ecology was praised by the leaders of the Ministry and affirmed by leaders from all over the country.
