Description
The project is located in the northwest of Zhangjiakou urban area, which is part of the the Inner Mongolian Plateau, with an altitude of 1300-1500m. The annual average temperature is low, the temperature difference is large, the air is dry, the wind and sand is heavy, the drought is frequent, the soil desertification and alkalization are fast, and the grassland resources are seriously damaged.
After the implementation of the project research, the seedlings grew to a height of 10cm (within 2 months), without artificial watering, and the plants grew naturally. Solved the problem of low plant survival rate and high maintenance cost due to the lack of long-term desertification control effect. Realize the transformation of sandy land into grassland, without the need for manual maintenance, irrigation, natural growth of plants, continuous succession, approximate wild state, and integration with the surrounding undisturbed natural environment, adding carbon sinks.
